My partner is Cade Peterson, and we share a studio apartment in downtown Provo, Utah. Sometimes, we feel the limits of our humble life, but that just makes our love stronger. Cade knows that one of my favorite gifts is flowers, but since bouquets are expensive and never lasting, he draws them for me instead. His true passion is wood carving and sculpting, but he draws often, too. He is extremely talented, but he is too self-critical when it comes to his art, so he has yet to share it. I think otherwise.
"My Dandelion" was given to me December 17th, 2024. He sketched this for me after I was having a very low day. He noticed I wasn't my bubbly self and called me soft like a dandelion and drew this that evening.
